Xeni Gwet'in is a small First Nations community located approximately 200 km's west of Williams Lake, BC.

Xeni Gwet'in is one of the six communities that make up the Tsilhqot'in Nation. Following the Tsilhqot’in Nation v. British Columbia, 2014 Aboriginal Title and Rights case win, Xeni Gwet'in is moving towards full self-sovereign governance and have utilized, managed, and protected their traditional territories since time immemorial. Another name for the community is Nemiah Valley and the members refer to themselves as 'community' rather than First Nation
The nation has a total population of 433, of which 197 live on First Nations land and 236 live off First Nations land. There are 60 homes in community, 26 homes are elders home. The community favours distributed housing instead of central.
